This is going to be a quick and photo heavy audit of our Christmas feast, mainly because I’m about to OD on reading all the other Christmas dinner recaps, so I’m sure you all are, too.
That doesn’t mean it wasn’t completely outstanding! Believe me, I loved every single bite – for both dinner and dessert. I loaded up my plate was a healthy portion of the following:
We enjoyed these so much the last time we made them, Kim decided to put them on the Christmas dinner menu this year. Good call.
The first time I ever had wax beans was at Christmas dinner about 5 years ago and now I look forward to them every year! Wax beans + canned tomatoes = favorite Christmas dinner tradition.
And last but not least…
I made sure to leave room for dessert, which included one of the chocolate candies we made earlier in December and some chocolate coconut milk ice cream. Perfect.
I also made Gena’s Sweet ‘N Spicy Candied Nuts for snacking, which were a huge hit. I packaged them in mason jars with festive tags. I strongly recommend this recipe, it’s just so good!
