Earlier this month, I entered a giveaway over at Vegan Nom Noms for a jar of Biscoff spread. I’ve seen it on a lot of blogs, but never in an actual store so I could try it. I was very excited when I found out I’d won the giveaway.
Biscoff spread is made from Biscoff cookies. If you’ve ever flown Delta, apparently they’re served as the in flight snack. The spread is advertised as a delicious nut-free alternative to peanut butter. I think it’s more of a delicious nut-free alternative to Nutella, considering it’s a lot sweeter than peanut butter and reminds me of well, cookies.
I entered the giveaway by telling Nicole I would use the spread on apples. Check it out, the copy writers at Biscoff totally read my mind.
Only thing is, I was fresh out of apples when the package arrived . I couldn’t let that stop me from trying it immediately though…
A spoon worked just fine. They weren’t lying, it’s absolutely delicious. It’s going to taste great with apples or pretty much anything else it goes on. Straight from the jar is probably going to happen again, too. It’s not GF, but a little bit at a time shouldn’t be too bad for me. I also plan on sharing the wealth
